We moved to Stouffville recently and we purchased our house. We were looking for Canadian made quality Furniture to fit in our room perfectly. We looked at few places in Markham and New Market and our neighbor told us about local place in Stouffville '' Modern home Furniture'' on Main street. They customized our leather sectional to perfectly fit in our room. We also got our Kitchen set which is made in Canada as well. Beautiful round table/chairs with custom colors of my choice! As compared to prices from other store they were reasonable for very high end Canadian furniture with fine quality. They delivered and set up for me. We are very happy with quality and service we have received. We will recommend that store.

We were looking for new couches for our cottage. I wanted something Canadian made, durable and in a color of my choosing. On a whim and wanting to shop local, I checked out Modern home furniture. We dealt with Lux. She was really knowledgeable and accommodating. We placed an order when they had a sale on but we didn't want to take possession for a few months. We provided a deposit and the order was to be placed for manufacturing at a later date. We subsequently decided to take the items sooner rather than later so I called Lux to let her know to go ahead. Then Covid-19 happened... Lux and her father (owner of the store, sorry I can't remember his name) managed to get the order placed but whether or not it would be fulfilled on time was another story. When it was determined that the manufacturer was still filling orders, the owner of this store went as far as to ensure our items were expedited. When our items arrived at the store (on a super hot July day) he helped my husband load the furniture in the trailer we brought with us. I would recommend Modern Home Furniture to anyone looking for excellent customer service and excellent quality Canadian made furniture.
