Alex is the man! Again, top service! My pedal fell off in mid-ride on the SJAM. On the way home I stopped at the shop and left it to be replaced. Alex call a day later that it was done. When I picked it up and asked about the e-transfer email to pay, he said ''Pay for what?''. They fixed it for free. Excellent service from everyone at Retro-Rides. Highly recommended. Hats off to Alex! I bought another classic bike last week, a beautiful Glider 5 speed. After a couple of long rides, I found the tech of the day was not up to my liking. I went back and spoke with Alex about the options. He took control and upgraded the old tech for free. Many hours of his careful attention. I am elated with the changes he made. Thanks Alex! Once again, awesome service! This time I brought my bike in for an over-haul which includes de-gunking and re-greasing. They couldn't get the main cranks (peddles) disassembled with the regular tool. In fact their tool broke. So they planned to get a welding torch to try and un-cease the part the next day and gave me a loner bike to get home on. Nice bike BTW. The next day, after trying the welder and not getting the case free, they put the bike back together, plus new tires and wheel hub greasing, adjusting brakes and shifters|derailers, and only charged me the tune-up price plus parts costs. I called this morning asking to change a derailer cable and they said they would do it anytime while I wait for free. These folks are the best! They did it again! They surpassed my expectations. My front derailer cable broke yesterday, so I dropped my bike off in the morning. At the end of my work day, I went to pick it and pay for the new cable and service. They wouldn't take any money, saying 'Think of it as being under warranty' from my fall tune-up. Awesome guys, thanks again!

Great bikes and great people! Alex helped me pick out a bike and ensured it was the proper fit. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed, he let the bikes do the talking. I walked away with a beautifully restored vintage Centurion Accordo. It’s a dream to ride and explore the city with. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great bike that’s backed by their awesome service. Plus, you’re supporting a great local business in Ottawa. Thanks Alex!

Fantastic service from Alex the mechanic who helped adapt my bike to something I can ride with a neck injury. Thanks for listening to what I needed and adjusting when it didn’t work the first try. My neck and I are much happier with the new setup. Super good price too. Kind regards and keep up the outstanding service!
